I am interested in theoretical studies of how electrons make various ground states in condensed matters. I have been interested in understanding the phase transitions with varying temperature or pressure. My research is based on the density functional theory (DFT) method. To consider many body effects in strongly correlated systems, I have used the DFT+U ( U : on-site Coulomb interaction) and the combined approach of the density functional theory and dynamical mean field theory (DFT+DMFT) methods. Recently I become interested in a tight-binding Hamiltonian based on the DFT input, and topology of condensed matter.
